Squaw Valley opened in 1949 with one chair lift, a rope tow, and a lodge. Today, Squaw Valley USA is one of the world's premier destination resorts with year-round recreation and first-class accommodations. One of Squaw Valley's most notable achievements, and a turning point in the development of California skiing, was Squaw Valley's hosting of the 1960 Winter Olympics. We ski at the Squaw Valley and stay at the Red Wolf Lodge, a rental resort just adjacent to the alpine village of Squaw Valley. Very heavy snow on the way back and it took us more than 6 hours in traffic.

Nice meeting you here! As you probably noticed, I love taking pictures. Photography, to me, is about the intellectual joy and excitement to "hunt" for a good photograph, be it in travels or in capturing a particular moment in life or in expressing a specific perception.
