Camping is one of the most popular recreation activities in the Sierra National Forest. Huntington lake is located 65 miles Northwest of Fresno. Whether you are interested in hiking, biking, camping, backpacking, picnicking, driving off-highway, fishing or any of the other popular recreational activities, this is the place to be. Click here to see the map of the area.

The ideal camping time in most Forest areas is May to October, prior to winter storm activity. Reservation campgrounds are available, however some Forest campgrounds are operated on a first-come, first-served system. Water taken from nearby rivers and streams should be boiled prior to consumption. Bears, raccoons, and other critters generally become a problem in campgrounds, so we need to be very careful with our food storage.

Hi, how are you?

Nice meeting you here! As you probably noticed, I love taking pictures. Photography, to me, is about the intellectual joy and excitement to "hunt" for a good photograph, be it in travels or in capturing a particular moment in life or in expressing a specific perception. A little bit of my background, I graduated in MBA from Santa Clara University and got my Computer Science degree from University of Wisconsin, Madison. This website and the photos are all made by me unless otherwise stated, I invite you to check out my favorite photos below and explore the rest of my website.
