We stopped at Steinbeck's Cannery Row, once an industrial street famous for sardines and known for the characters in John Steinbeck's novel "Cannery Row". There are shopping and activities on the beautiful shoreline of Monterey and visited the Bay Aquarium with all kinds of different ocean life. The Bay Aquarium has nearly 200 award-winning galleries and exhibits.
