Los Angeles & San Diego Trip with Family October 2002. Enjoyed the beautiful flowers at Descanso Gardens, a short 20 minutes drive from downtown LA. The garden is a 160 acres, internationally renowned botanical collections and spectacular seasonal horticultural displays. There is a 5 acre Rose Garden has more than 3,000 roses represent centuries of horticultural history and dozens of regions from around the world. There are significant collections of species, old garden and modern roses all arranged in theme gardens.  
 
Also visited Universal Studio and the San Diego Zoo. The Universal Studio, is located in Hollywood, capital of the American film industry, comprises 48 film studios in 525 acres. There are thrilling cinematic spectacles, such as bridge-crushing snow avalanches, exploding mountain torrents, giant white sharks, a roaring effigy of King Kong, and so forth. Virtual reality from famous films such as “Back to the Future”, “Jurassic Park”, and “Aliens” are some of the amazing experience.
