Cherry Picking Trip. Just 60 miles east of San Francisco in Brentwood, California, there are probably around dozens of U-pick farm. It usually starts between Late May and Early July. U-pick is a great time to visit the orchard, and the fruit can not get any fresher!

Some history lessons, in the East Contra Costa County area a need was perceived in the early 70's to do something more than just sell produce to packers. However, farmers then did not organize well, for that meant jeopardizing their individuality and independence. They overcame that, and with the help of the Contra Costa Farm Bureau, set out to develop a set of by-laws and organize themselves into a marketing group. They then organized, pursuant to the General Nonprofit Corporation Law of the State of California. Harvest Time, Inc. was born, any farm or ranch in Contra Costa County was welcome to join, regardless of whether or not they were in Brentwood. Today, it is called the Brentwood Region, which includes Byron, Oakley and Knightsen.

Hi, how are you?

Nice meeting you here! As you probably noticed, I love taking pictures. Photography, to me, is about the intellectual joy and excitement to "hunt" for a good photograph, be it in travels or in capturing a particular moment in life or in expressing a specific perception. A little bit of my background, I graduated in MBA from Santa Clara University and got my Computer Science degree from University of Wisconsin, Madison. This website and the photos are all made by me unless otherwise stated, I invite you to check out my favorite photos below and explore the rest of my website.
