We flied back to Beijing on January 25 2009, which is the day before the Chinese Lunar New Year. While the plane is about to land, we can see all the new year fireworks clearly from a plane, in celebration of the arrival of the Year of the Ox, the sign representing solemn hard work and prosperity - an animal that appears aptly symbolic for these difficult times. Millions of people traveled long distances to be with family during this Spring Festival and we are no exception. We brought the twins to Beijing to visit their families in the new year and it revolves around the delicious new year chinese food, including dozens of the crescent dumplings that symbolise family reunion. I wish everyone a Happy Chinese New Year and may the year of the Ox brings you good health, prosperity, success and many happy returns.

Hi, how are you?

Nice meeting you here! As you probably noticed, I love taking pictures. Photography, to me, is about the intellectual joy and excitement to "hunt" for a good photograph, be it in travels or in capturing a particular moment in life or in expressing a specific perception. A little bit of my background, I graduated in MBA from Santa Clara University and got my Computer Science degree from University of Wisconsin, Madison. This website and the photos are all made by me unless otherwise stated, I invite you to check out my favorite photos below and explore the rest of my website.
