Chimelong Safari Park China

Chimelong Xiangjiang Safari Park (长隆香江野生动物世界) is a zoological park in Guangzhou China, the only zoo in China that holds a 5A class tourism attraction level. There are over 20,000 animals from over 450 species including white-tiger, orangutan, Asia elephant, sun bear, golden monkey, chimpanzee, pygmy hippo and giraffe.

Covering an area of 130 hectares, the zoo is broken into 2 main sections, the "Safari on Foot" and a "Safari on Wheels" section. We went on the "Safari on Wheels" last time 2 years ago, so we decided to go to the "Safari on Foot" route this time. There are over 460 species in the park, among them there are many international endangered animals. For example, there are more than 100 white tigers in Chime-Long Xiangjiang Safari Park, i.e. over 50% of the whole amount of this species on earth. There are white lions, panda, white kangaroos, red-headed Cranes, Flamingos, Pygmy Hippos, polar bears and so on. This safari is surprisingly good and we highly recommend it for you to bring your kids there for a nice weekend!
