Kung Fu Panda Academy Macau August 2015

Kung Fu Panda Academy Macau August 2015

We visited the Kung Fu Panda Academy at the Sheraton Hotel in Macau. This interactive academy where “legend tells of a legendary warrior whose Kung Fu skills were the stuff of legend” is a five-zone interactive obstacle course that challenges children’s physical abilities and problem solving skills, and encourages their creativity. Upon completing all the challenges, participants will receive a Kung Fu Panda-themed goodie bag which will include a water tumbler, a Po fan, headband, and a certificate. Of course, little Kung Fu Masters can meet and pose with Po (Kung Fu Panda) for photoshoot. The kids also joined the Junior Hotelier, which allows kids to learn about operating a hotel while having fun along the way. The kids are able to gain firsthand knowledge about running a hotel as they receive guidance from the hotel's culinary, front desk, and housekeeping teams. The Junior Hotelier program offers children the chance to learn various aspects of the hotel's operations, taking on food and beverage roles such as Junior Barman or Junior Chef, and positions within the Rooms division such as Junior Agent or Junior Housekeeper. To perform their duties, kids wear special Junior Hotelier uniforms such as a chef apron, chef hat, and housekeeping apron. Sheraton's housekeeping staff will teach towel folding techniques to create different animals and stylish displays, plus demonstrate how to make up a Sheraton Sweet Sleeper Bed.

Next, we went to Galaxy Macau, where we enjoyed swimming and surfing in the world's largest Skytop Wave Pool, playing on the  2,000 sqm white sands of beach and retreats at the private beachside cabanas. It features the world’s longest Skytop Aquatic Adventure River Ride at 575 meters including exhilarating waterslides, beach lagoons, white water rapids, geysers, waterfalls and a kids zone, set in Asian themed tropical gardens.
