Our trip to Macau was packed with excitement and unique experiences for the whole family, starting with a visit to the Kung Fu Panda Academy at the Sheraton Hotel. Stepping into this interactive world, where "legend tells of a legendary warrior whose Kung Fu skills were the stuff of legend," felt like entering the movie itself. Designed as a five-zone interactive obstacle course, the academy is a fantastic way to challenge children aged 4 to 12, testing their physical abilities, problem-solving skills, and encouraging their creativity.

The adventure unfolds across distinct zones, each offering a different challenge on the path to becoming a Kung Fu Master. In "Prepare To Be A Kung Fu Master," kids tapped into their creative side by designing personalized headbands. "Kung Fu Courage Training" saw them learning basic Kung Fu moves from an instructor and putting them to the test. The "Respect – Mr Ping's Noodle Shop" zone was a culinary delight where they got to create their own delectable dishes. "Focus – Leaps Training" challenged their balance and agility as they navigated a course of varying height poles.

Finally, "Diligence – The Final Test" presented an obstacle course to conquer, proving their newfound skills. Upon successfully completing all the challenges, each little warrior received a special Kung Fu Panda-themed goodie bag filled with treasures like a water tumbler, a festive Po fan, a headband, and a well-deserved certificate – perfect mementos of their achievement. And of course, the highlight for many was the chance to meet the Dragon Warrior himself, Po, and strike a pose for memorable photos! The entire Kung Fu Panda Academy experience typically lasts around 1.5 hours, keeping the kids engaged and entertained.

Adding another layer of unique fun, the kids also participated in the Junior Hotelier program at the Sheraton. This engaging program offers children a playful yet insightful look into the world of hospitality. Under the guidance of the hotel's expert teams in culinary, front desk, and housekeeping, the kids gained firsthand knowledge of how a hotel operates. Donning adorable Junior Hotelier uniforms, including chef aprons, hats, and housekeeping aprons, they eagerly took on various roles. In the culinary realm, they had a blast as Junior Barmen and Junior Chefs, even getting to make their own pizza and smoothies. The housekeeping team shared their secrets, teaching the children impressive towel folding techniques to create charming animal shapes and stylish displays, and demonstrating how to make up a signature Sheraton Sweet Sleeper Bed with precision. While the specific age range and duration for this program can vary, it's clearly designed to provide a supervised and age-appropriate introduction to the hotel industry in a fun and interactive way.
